Yamaha Aerox Electric breaks cover
The Yamaha Aerox-E has been revealed by the brand and it features a dual 1.5 kWh removable battery pack that offers a claimed range of 106 km.

The Aerox-E has a motor powered by the dual 1.5 kWh battery pack. The peak output of the motor stands at 13 PS and 48 Nm of peak torque. The company claims a range of 106 km on a full charge and has a kerb weight of 139 kg. The Aerox-E has been revealed alongside the EC-06 and the Aerox-E looks quite sporty and aggressive in terms of styling and road presence.
The Aerox-E has multiple ride modes (Eco, Standard and Power) along with an additional Boost mode for those sudden overtakes. Other mentions include a TFT dash, all LED lighting, and app based connectivity. We can expect connected features like geofencing, remote immobilisation, anti-theft alerts, tow-alerts, SOS alerts, call and text alerts to name a few.
In terms of cycle parts, suspension duties are done by a telescopic unit up front and a dual shock absorber unit at the rear and braking duties are handled by disc brakes for both section with single channel ABS. It gets a single-piece seat, stalk mirrors, small fly screen and sleek split headlamp setup at the front. The indicators have been integrated onto the side panels which adds to the sporty look of the e-scooter. The brand has not disclosed any details on the launch of the Aerox-E in India.
