TVS Raider Dual-Disc: Engine and Performance
Powering the new Raider is the 124.8cc, single-cylinder, three-valve, air and oil-cooled engine that produces 11.54PS at 7,500rpm and 11.2Nm at 6,000rpm. This unit is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

TVS claims that the Raider can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 5.8 seconds and delivers a mid-range performance, aided by the brand's iTO (Intelligent Throttle Opening) technology and Glide-Through-Traffic (GTT) feature, which helps with low-speed riding without throttle input. The new variant also introduces a Boost Mode(iGO Assist) that enhances acceleration.

Design and Styling
In terms of design, the TVS Raider Dual-Disc continues with the street-fighter-inspired design seen on the standard model. It is equipped with a sharp LED headlamp, a fuel tank with sporty shrouds and a curved-tailed section with LED taillamps.

The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with wider 90/90-17 front and 110/80-17 rear tyres. TVS offers the new variant in several colour options.

Features and Equipment
The major update in this section is the dual-disc brake setup (front and rear) paired with single-channel ABS, and to highlight it's first for the 125cc commuter segment. Depending on the variant, customers can choose between a reverse LCD instrument cluster or a full-colour TFT display with SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity. The TFT unit supports voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts and ride analytics.

Other key features include a USB charging port, idle-stop-start system, under-seat storage and a side-stand engine cut-off for enhanced safety.

Chassis and Hardware
The Raider continues to use a tubular frame suspended by a telescopic front fork and five-step preload-adjustable gas-charged monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are now handled by disc brakes at both ends. The seat height is 780mm, and the kerb weight is around 123kg.

Prices, Variants and Rivals
The new TVS Raider Dual Disc is priced at Rs 95,600 for the top-spec TFT DD trim and Rs 93,800 for the SXC DD variant, both ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Raider continues to be offered in multiple trims, including Single-Disc, Split-Seat and SmartXonnect options. In terms of rivals, TVS will lock horns with the likes of Hero Xtreme 125R, Bajaj Pulsar N125, and Honda SP125.
