The powertrain remains the same, the familiar 765cc, liquid-cooled, in-line three-cylinder engine that comes mated to a six speed gearbox. The engine pushes a healthy 128.2 PS at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. The engine is nestled in the aluminium beam twin-spar frame with a 2 piece high pressure die cast rear subframe. It rides on 17-inch wheels with 310 mm dual discs up front being choked by Brembo Stylema 4-piston radial monobloc callipers, and a single 220 mm rotor at the rear performing braking duties. Both bikes use a fully adjustable 41 mm Öhlins NIX30 USD fork with 115 mm of travel at the front, and the rear section gets fully adjustable Öhlins STX40 piggyback reservoir.

The Moto 2 Edition gets side panels, belly pan, silencer end cap, and front mudguard made out of carbon-fibre. The RX guise on the other hand is finished in a silver base colour with red accents on the alloys, tank and on the entire sub-frame done in red. The seat and the silencer gets RX branding. The saddle height is at a good 830 mm, it has a wet weight of 188 kg and a 15-litre tank.
