Toyota Urban Cruiser EV launch on January 19
The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV will be launched on January 19 and we can expect a price tag that start from Rs 20 lakh to the top model costing above the Rs 25 lakh mark.

The powertrain options are likely to be the same as on the Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara, a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh battery pack is expected to be offered with the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV. The smaller battery pack produces 144 PS of power and 193 Nm of torque. The 61-kWh battery has a power output of 174 PS and 193 Nm of peak torque. In terms of range, we can expect the larger battery pack to deliver range over 500 km on a single charge.
The interior features of the Urban Cruiser EV is likely to include a large(expected 10.25-inch) touchscreen infotainment unit, a fully digital driver's dash, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, a multifunctional steering wheel, auto dimming IRVM, heated and ventilated front seats to name a few.
The safety suite is expected to offer Level 2 ADAS functionalities like lane keeping assist, front collision warning, and adaptive cruise control among others. The standard kit is likely to offer 7-airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, a 360-degree camera view, and a tyre pressure monitoring system to name a few.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV will lock horns with the likes of the Mahindra BE6, Vinfast VF6, and MG ZS EV to name a few.
