Tesla Model Y garners 600 bookings

The Tesla Model Y has recorded 600 bookings following its launch in July and deliveries are expected to commence this month.

The bookings stand at 600 units and the company is expecting to deliver 350-500 units in the first phase of deliveries. The initial phase of deliveries covers New Delhi, Gurugram, Pune and Mumbai. After the launch of the Model Y, the company shortly launched its first Tesla Charging Station at One BKC, Mumbai, on 4th of August, 2025. The Mumbai charging station at BKC One features four V4 Supercharging stalls delivering ultra-fast DC charging at a peak rate of 250 kW, alongside four Destination Charging/ Wall Charging stalls offering AC charging at 11 kW. Tesla owners can now choose the charging option that best suits their needs, with Supercharging priced at Rs 24 per kW and Destination Charging at Rs 14 per kW.

And recently, Tesla launched its showroom in Aerocity, New Delhi which has 4 Superchargers and 3 Destination chargers. The Destination charger is capable of providing 70 km of range in 50 minutes and at the same time the Supercharger is capable for giving a range of 267 km in just 15 minutes.

The Tesla Model Y will set you back by Rs Rs 59.89 lakh for the Standard rear-wheel drive version and the Long Range RWD version will set you back by Rs 67.89 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom. The RWD offers a claimed range of 500 km on a full charge and the long-range variant claims a range of 622 km.
