Suzuki Katana Limited Edition breaks cover
Suzuki Katana has received a new limited-run version in Germany called the Katana Limited Edition (LE). This special model will be produced in very small numbers, with only 45 units available exclusively for the German market.
- Production capped at just 45 units
- 999cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine pushing 152 PS and 106 Nm
- Features road-legal slip-on exhaust from Akrapovi?
The Katana LE keeps the same overall design and shape as the standard Katana, but Suzuki has added a few cosmetic changes to make it stand out. The motorcycle comes finished in a silver paint scheme paired with bright bronze wheels. Unlike the regular Katana, which has a body-coloured rear section, the Limited Edition features a black tail section for a slightly different look.
Suzuki has also included a few exclusive items with the bike. Each Katana LE gets a numbered sticker showing its production number. Buyers will also receive frame sliders, a carbon-look tank pad, a Katana-branded garage mat, and a special book that tells the story of the Katana from its early origins to the current model.
Power comes from the same 999cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine derived from the K5 platform. The motor continues to produce 152 PS and 106 Nm of torque. The chassis, suspension setup, and electronic features remain the same as the standard Katana.
The only mechanical change on the Limited Edition is the addition of a road-legal slip-on exhaust from Akrapovi?. Suzuki says the exhaust improves the sound of the motorcycle, although it does not change the performance.
The Katana Limited Edition is priced at 15,045 euros (around Rs 16.11 lakh), which is slightly higher than the standard model that sells for 14,400 euros (about Rs 15.41 lakh).
