Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 images leaked ahead of its official launch
Earlier, team OVERDRIVE reported the leaked specifications of the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. Recently, the official shots of the fully faired Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 have leaked ahead of its debut in India. The bike sports a fully faired design with LED headlamps up front and a visor to make the whole package more aerodynamic. The handlebar setup is a clip-on unit to offer a more committed riding stance. The tail is upswept and has an all LED tail lamp unit. The fender extends out and houses the number plate and turn indicators. The exhaust is a double barrel unit.
The engine is a 250cc single cylinder oil-cooled unit that churns 26.5PS at 9000 rpm and 22.5Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The cycle parts are telescopic forks units upfront and mono shock at the rear. Dual-channel ABS (Antilock braking unit) will be a standard offering. Expect the price of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 to be close to Rs 1.6 lakh ex-showroom. and the bike will rival the Yamaha Fazer 250 and the Honda CBR250R.
The official launch of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is slated for tomorrow along with Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 facelift.
