Skoda Auto launch the new Rapid Matte edition at Rs 11.99 lakh
After discontinuing the Rapid Rider Plus sometime back, Skoda Auto has now launched a new special edition of the Rapid called the Skoda Rapid Matte edition. The price of the new Rapid Matte edition will start from Rs 11.99 lakh.
The Skoda Rapid Matte version will be offered solely in a carbon steel matte colour, which contributes to the car's aesthetic stance. The 1.0 L TSI engine will power it, and it will be available with both automatic and manual gearboxes. The turbocharged petrol engine produces 110PS and 175 Nm of torque.
The carbon steel matte colour gives the car an extremely stealthy appearance. This is further enhanced by the new glossy black radiator grille and spoiler in the front. The glossy black door handle is unique to the matte edition and accentuates the car's side appearance.
Furthermore, the black body side moulding emphasises the side profile. The rear diffusor, glossy black tailgate spoiler, and black trunk lip garnish all contribute to the car's aggressive appearance. This new Rapid version also sports all-black alloy wheels.
Black leatherette seats with Alcantara inlays are used on the seats. A 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rear-view camera, and a USB-based air purifier are all included in the Matte Edition. The Rapid Inscription on stainless-steel scuff plates adds to the sportiness of the interiors. High-visibility performance LEDs are also offered exclusively for the RAPID Matte version.
Rear parking sensors, anti-glare IRVM, rear windscreen defogger with timer, height-adjustable three-point seatbelts, dual front airbags and ABS are among the safety features.
The Skoda Shield Plus ensures 6 years of a hassle-free ownership experience. Prices for the Skoda Matte edition start at Rs 11.99 lakh for the manual transmission while the automatic variant starts from Rs 13.49 lakh.
