Royal Enfield Bobber 350 spotted testing in India

After coming across the spy pictures of the upcoming Himalayan 450 and Shotgun 650, the new batch of spy shots has shown the Royal Enfield Classis 350-based Bobber 350. The brand has been developing dozens and dozens compelling offerings and a few of them are likely to launch this year, including the new Bobber 350. This new RE will join the on-sale Classic 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350, and upcoming new generation Bullet 350.

Upcoming new Royal Enfield Bobber 350: New details

We expect Royal Enfield to use its J-platform for new Bobber 350 like the other new motorcycles, such as the Classic 350 and Meteor 350. In terms of design, the test mule spotted in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, bears a bobber motorcycle-inspired bodywork. The highlight of the Royal Enfield Bobber 350 include a single-piece seat, exposed-rear fender curved around the tyre, Meteor 350 and Super Meteor 350-style LED taillight and indicators, wire-spoked tyres with thick white walls, and a tall-set handler bar reminiscent of the Harley-Davidson tallboy handlebars.

In addition, the Bobber 350 test mule has a distinctive all-black exhaust. It also features the alloy wheels, front and rear fenders, handlebar, fuel tank, mirrors, and engine finished in black, unlike the all-chrome components on the Classic 350.

Upcoming new Royal Enfield Bobber 350: Features and Specs

The Bobber 350 could come with an all-LED lights, including the headlamp, indicators, and taillamp. It is also likely to feature the same mechanicals as the Classic 350, such as telescopic front forks, two-spring rear setup, 300mm front disc and 270mm rear disc, and dual-channel ABS. However, Royal Enfield may offer the semi-digital instrument console similar to the Meteor 350 and Super Meteor 650. Plus, it might get the Tripper navigation system.

Upcoming new Royal Enfield Bobber 350: Engine, Gearbox, and Power outputs

Powering the Bobber 350 is likely to be the same 349cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed gearbox as the Classic 350. This motor generates 20.2PS at 6,100rpm and 27Nm peak torque at 4,000rpm.

Upcoming new Royal Enfield Bobber 350: Prices and Rivals

We expect the new Bobber 350 to command slightly higher premium over the Classic 350. For reference, the prices of the Classic 350 start from Rs 1.90 lakh and go up to Rs 2.21 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Once launched, the Royal Enfield Bobber 350 will take on the Jawa 42 Bobber.
