Marc Márquez and Ducati are the 2025 MotoGP World Champions
Marc Márquez and Ducati are the 2025 MotoGP World Champions with five weekends to go.
For Marc Márquez this is the first world championship in Ducati red, while for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, it is the fourth consecutive Riders' Title, achieved with three different riders (2022, 2023: Francesco Bagnaia, 2024: Jorge MartÃn, 2025: Marc Márquez).
The Grand Prix of Japan represented the culmination of a journey that began with Márquez joining the official team of Borgo Panigale at the beginning of 2025. The Riders' Title was marked by exceptional numbers: 14 Sprint victories and 11 GP wins, which put him at the top of the world championship standings with 541 points, 201 points ahead of the runner-up. The Sprint-GP combination: 10 double wins in the season, 7 of them consecutive.
The Motegi GP was crowned by a masterful performance from Francesco Bagnaia, who claimed victory in both the Sprint and the Sunday race, a result that adds even more value to an already historic weekend for Ducati.
The Riders' Title just won adds to the Constructors' Title secured in Barcelona, ??the sixth consecutive for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.
At the heart of these successes are numbers that illustrate the commitment and meticulous work of the Borgo Panigale team:

- Over 11,000 hours of calculations and simulations on Ducati HPC clusters
- Over 2,500 CFD simulation cycles for aerodynamics and engine
