Pre bookings for the Kia Seltos facelift to begin from July 14

Kia India will begin accepting reservations for its recently revealed SUV, the Seltos facelift, in India on July 14, 2023. This is the first big upgrade to the nameplate, which has been available in India since August 2019 and the launch is expected to take place next month. Kia also announced high-priority bookings via the 'K-Code' program which ensures shorter delivery time for all bookings done with K-code.

Kia Seltos facelift: Variants and Colours

In terms of variations, the three trim levels are further divided into HTE, HTK, HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus, GTX Plus, and X Line. The Seltos facelift comes in Pewter Olive, Sparkling Silver, Clear White, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, and Glacier White colours. The latter two are also available in Aurora Black Pearl dual-tone colour schemes. Furthermore, the Seltos facelift receives six distinct interior themes and seat upholstery options.

Kia Seltos facelift: Engine

Kia has also included its new 160PS and 253Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with this upgrade. The new engine will be paired with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The 115PS, 144Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine and the 116PS, 250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine will remain in the Seltos facelift. The former will be available with a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission, while the latter will be available with a 6-speed iMT and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Kia Seltos facelift: Interior And Features

The Seltos facelift now has a twin-screen setup on the inside, with two 10.25-inch monitors, one for the digital instrument clusters and the other for the infotainment touchscreen. Kia has added a few additional features to the Seltos to make it more enticing. A panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake with auto hold, dual-zone temperature control, and, most crucially, ADAS are among the features.

The inside of the X Line trim will have a new sage green colour, while the GT Line variations will have a new black and white interior.

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, linked car technology, ventilated front seats, driving and traction modes, a Bose sound system, and a heads-up display are some of the features carried over from the outgoing model. It also has six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system for safety.
