Porsche Cayenne S Electric unveiled
Porsche Cayenne Electric has gained a new 'S' variant in global markets, expanding the electric SUV lineup. The new model sits between the standard version and the high-performance Turbo variant.

The Porsche Cayenne S Electric uses the same 113 kWh battery pack found in other versions of the electric Cayenne. However, Porsche has made changes to the motor hardware, software tuning and suspension settings.
Power comes from two permanent-magnet synchronous motors, one mounted on each axle for all-wheel drive. Together they produce 544 PS, which can temporarily increase to 666 PSÂ when Launch Control is activated. The rear motor also features direct oil cooling, helping control temperatures in key electrical components during high-performance driving. Porsche has paired this setup with a silicon-carbide pulse inverter capable of handling currents of up to 620 amps.
Performance figures are impressive for a large electric SUV. The Cayenne S Electric can accelerate from 0–100 kmph in 3.8 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 250 kmph. According to the WLTP cycle, the SUV can travel up to 653 kilometres on a single charge.
Charging is another highlight. Using a 400kW DC fast charger, the battery can be replenished from 10 to 80 percent in less than 16 minutes.
Visually, the S variant carries a few distinct touches. It gets Volcano Grey Metallic accents on the front and rear aprons, a body-coloured diffuser insert, and 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels as standard.
Porsche is also offering several optional performance upgrades. These include Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, the brand's Active Ride suspension system, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes. Buyers can also choose the Sport Chrono Package, which adds Push-to-Pass for a short burst of extra power and a dedicated Track mode. Buyers can choose from 13 exterior colours, along with multiple interior themes.
Inside, Porsche's Interior Style Package by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is now available across the Cayenne Electric lineup. The package brings dual-tone Black and Delgada Green leather upholstery, matching seat belts, embroidered Porsche crests on the headrests, Izabal Green aluminium trim, and a GT sports steering wheel with a 12-o'clock marker.
