Peugeot-Citroen and GM confirm four new co-developed cars

They made a co-development pact way back in March this year and now the Peugeot-Citroen and GM alliance has announced that they are co-developing four new vehicles. This will include a compact crossover for the former and MPV for the latter. Also on the cards is a small car for both the companies. The next-gen small car platform from PSA and Opel which guarantees to have low emissions will also be born out of this alliance. Both the companies are expected to save upto $2 billion in the next five years due to this joint venture. The first vehicle from this JV is expected to be on the roads by 2016.
