Upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Design

As seen in the pictures, the Himalayan 450 production-ready mule showed off its beak-style raised fender, a sculpted fuel tank, a short exhaust, a split-seat, sturdy-looking base plate to mount a top box, a small windscreen, and Himalayan-inspired metal frames. In addition, it was painted in all-black colour scheme.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: New details and specifications

The Himalayan 450 mule gets distinctive switchgear. Although it carries the rotary dials for ignition and headlight, there are two new switches on either side. One of them is likely to be a hazard light button, while another could be to control the all-new circular colour TFT display. If the spy shots are to go by, the new Himalayan 450 to come equipped with Ceat dual-purpose tyres.

It is already known that the adventure motorcycle will feature upside down front forks, a rear monoshock, a single-disc brake setup at both ends (likely to be 320mm front and 300mm rear setup from the Super Meteor 650), all-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS. Having said that, it would not be surprising if Royal Enfield also offers traction control, slip and assist clutch, switchable ABS, and a new app for connectivity, among others.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Powertrain

It is no secret that the Himalayan 450 will come powered by an all-new 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This engine is expected to produce 38-42PS and 40-45Nm of torque.
