The petrol engine is good for 140PS while the combined output of both the petrol and electric motors is 215PS. The petrol and electric motors come mated to an e-CVT which is faster and more efficient than the conventional CVT, claims Honda. The Accord Hybrid gets a Sport Hybrid Intelligent Multi Mode Drive (i-MMD) system which offers different driving modes - Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive. In the Hybrid Drive mode, the vehicle can attain speeds up to 120kmph.

The Accord Hybrid will come equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable driver's seat, six airbags and ABS with EBD. Honda had launched the Accord in India in 2001 and discontinued it in the early 2014.
