Mobileye logs in to Indias First ADAS Testing Facility Launch

India's automotive industry is gearing up for a major leap in safety and innovation. On December 12, 2025, Pune will host the inauguration of the country's first dedicated ADAS testing facility, the ADAS Test City, developed by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). This milestone marks a defining step toward advancing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies within the Indian market.

Mobileye is leading the charge in this event, a global pioneer in ADAS and autonomous vehicle solutions. The company's participation underscores its commitment to supporting India's transition toward safer and more intelligent mobility.

The ADAS Test City has been designed as a pseudo-urban test environment that simulates real-world driving conditions. This allows researchers and automakers to evaluate crucial safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Pedestrian Detection, and Adaptive Cruise Control. The facility's advanced layout and controlled setup will help validate these technologies under realistic scenarios, paving the way for broader implementation across Indian roads.

At the inauguration, Elie Luskin, Vice President for India and China at Mobileye, would be delivering a keynote address, outlining Mobileye's global roadmap and how its innovations are shaping India's mobility future. Additionally, Dhairyashil Gaekwad, Director of Business Development & Strategy for India, will join a panel discussion titled "ADAS for the Indian Market – From Premium to Mass Adoption." The session will focus on how safety systems can be integrated across diverse vehicle segments to make advanced driver assistance more accessible to all.

The launch coincides with THE ADAS SHOW, an event organised by ARAI in collaboration with Markets and Markets, which will bring together leading automotive manufacturers, tier-1 suppliers, start-ups, regulators, and technology companies. The event will feature live vehicle demonstrations, technology showcases, and leadership discussions, all centred on accelerating ADAS adoption and fostering collaboration across the industry.

Commenting on the occasion, Luskin said, "The successful launch of India's first dedicated ADAS testing track by ARAI marks a major milestone, underscoring the market's commitment to scaling ADAS adoption and improving road safety – an ambition that aligns seamlessly with Mobileye's long-term mission both globally and in India."

As India embraces the next phase of its automotive evolution, the partnership between Mobileye, ARAI, and industry stakeholders at the ADAS Test City is a decisive move toward safer, smarter, and more autonomous mobility on Indian roads.
