Mercedes-Maybach GLS launched at Rs 2.75 crore
Mercedes-Benz India has announced the start of local production of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS at its manufacturing facility in Pune. The company has launched the locally assembled Maybach GLS at Rs 2.15 crore.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS continues to draw power from a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo, V8 engine that comes mated to a nine-speed torque converter gearbox. The engine pushes a meaty 557 PS and 770 Nm of peak torque. The company claims a top speed of 250 kmph and a 0-100 kmph sprint in 4.9 seconds.
The key highlights include a 29-speakers Burmester 3D surround sound system, a 9.6-litre refrigerated unit
seamlessly integrated into the rear armrest, flush door handles, 21-inch wheels, the MBUX hyperscreen, nappa leather surrounds throughout the interior, four-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, 2 wireless headsets, dual wireless phone chargers, powered sunblinds, two 11.6-inch display for rear passengers, ventilated and powered front and rear seats, digital driver's dash, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to name a few. Other mentions include a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, adjustable headrests, and dual 12.3-inch screens among others.
The safety suite on the Mercedes-Maybach consists of ADAS features, auto parking assistance, and a tyre pressure monitoring system among others. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS locks horns with the likes of the Rolls Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga to name few.
