Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Celebration Edition launched at Rs 1.34 crore
The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Celebration Edition has been launched at Rs 1.34 crore for the five-seater version and the seven-seater version will set you back by Rs 1.48 crore.

The EQS SUV is available in two configurations, a five-seater and a seven-seater, both of them use a 122 kWh battery pack with 4MATIC drive tech. The five-seater guise - EQS SUV 450 puts out 360 PS and 800 Nm of peak torque. And the seven-seater version (EQS SUV 580) pushes 544 PS and 858 Nm of peak torque.
The company claims a range of 775 km for the smaller SUV and can deliver a claimed range of 809 km on a single charge, both are ARAI certified range. Both of them have a top speed locked at 210 kmph and the company claims a 0-100 kmph sprint in 4.8 seconds for the EQS SUV 580 and 6.2 seconds for the 450.
It term of charging capabilities, they both support 200 kW of maximum DC charging capacity, and an State Of Charge (SOC) from 10-80 per cent can be achieved in a claimed 31 minutes.
The EQS SUV 450 has been upgraded with the AMG line and with it comes performance inspired styling and a sporty visual character. It also sports AMG bodystyling and 21-inch AMG light-alloy wheels. The AMG front apron in A-wing design and the rear apron with chrome accents adds to the sporty character of the SUV. Other mentions include active rear seat ventilation, standard rear seat package, MBUX rear tablet, and MBUX multimedia system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The EQS SUV 580 also gets the active rear ventilation along with the latest MBUX Hyperscreen (combining three displays), rear axle steering, keyless go convenience package, fingerprint scanner, MBUX rear tablet, Burmester 3D surround sound system, wireless charging in the rear and front, and a head-up display to name a few.
