Mahindra XUV 3XO EV launched at Rs 13.89 lakh

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV has been launched at a starting price of Rs 13.89 lakh and deliveries will start from February 23. It is offered in two variants- AX5 and AX7L, the latter will set you back by Rs 14.96 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom. The home charger is not included in the ex-showroom price, for that, customers will have to pay an extra Rs 50,000 for the 7.2 kW unit.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO uses a 39.4 kWh battery that powers a motor pushing 149 PS and 310 Nm of peak torque. The company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in just 8.3 seconds. It can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 50 minutes with a DC fast charger. There are multiple drive modes on offer as well - Fun, Fast, and Fearless.

In terms of exterior highlights, it gets copper-coloured inserts on the front and rear bumper along with the badges on the body which differentiates it from the ICE counterpart. Other mentions include pull out door handles, full-width lightbar at the rear, shark fin antenna, faux roof rails, 16 0r 17-inch alloy wheels, and C-shaped DRLs to name a few.

Inside the cabin, you get dual-zone AC, electronic parking brake with auto hold, passive keyless entry, six-way adjustable driver seat, dully digital driver's dash along with a touchscreen infotainment unit (both 10.25-inch),  a 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to name a few.

The safety suite includes features like 360-degree surround view system, 6-airbags, 4-disc brakes, tyre pressure monitoring system, remote vehicle control, vehicle status monitoring, trip summary, smartwatch connectivity, and supports in-car apps. The electric SUV comes with Level 2 ADAS with features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, smart pilot assist, and auto emergency braking to name a few.
