Mahindra and MSRDC collaborate to create India's first 'zero fatality' road corridor
Mahindra, in association with the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation has signed an MoU to reduce the number of fatalities on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. The aim is to have zero fatalities within the next three to four years. This initiative is supported by hospitals in the vicinity of the expressway as well as DY Patil University and JP Research.
Part of this initiative includes replacing the broken stretches of the expressway, restructuring the fences and planting more trees on the dividers. Mahindra, along with these partners here, hope to take this vision to other roads of our country shortly.
