Kia Carens Clavis EV expand its lineup
Kia India has expanded its Carens Clavis EV lineup with two new variants - HTX E and HTX E[ER], priced at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh(ex-showroom) respectively.
-Powered by a 42kWh battery pack, while the HTX E[ER] comes equipped with a larger 51.4kWh unit.
-Both variants offer added features such as panoramic sunroof, LED lamps for three rows, wireless charging and an ECM room mirror.
-The lineup now comprises six trims: HTK+, HTX E, HTX, HTX E[ER], HTX[ER] and HTX+[ER].
The Carens Clavis EV is powered by 134.60PS and 171.31PS electric motors, producing 255Nm of torque. The dual battery options deliver a range of 404km with a 42kWh battery and 490km with a 51.4kWh battery on a single charge, with fast charging capabilities of 10-80% in just 39 minutes. In terms of safety, it is equipped with 18 advanced features, including six airbags, ESC and Hill Start Assist Control.
In terms of interior, it offers a leatherette upholstery, seat-back folding tables, an air purifier with virus protection, a multi-colour mood lamp with footwell illumination and solar glass, a 67.62cm(26.62'') dual panoramic display and 90 connected features. Kia has also added features such as auto up/down for all windows and a tilt-and-telescopic two-tone steering wheel.
