The new Ivory paint brings a soft, pastel beige finish to the Jawa 42 lineup. It gets revised retro-themed graphics, including a prominent 'forty-two' script on the fuel tank and rear fender. There are also contrasting '42' decals on the side panels and the headlight housing. Apart from the new colour and graphics, the motorcycle remains unchanged. The overall silhouette, offset instrument cluster and body panels are the same as before.

Power continues to come from the 294 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 27.3 PS and 26.8 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Component wise, the bike retains all equipment from the standard variant, it rides on 18-inch wheels up front and 17-inch unit at the rear, tube type spoke wheels are on offer as well. The saddle height is at 788 mm and the fuel tank can store up to 13.2-litres. Braking duties are handled by a 280 mm rotor up front and a 240 mm rotor at the rear. And lastly, suspension duties are handled by a 35 mm conventional telescopic fork for the front section and twin shockers at the rear.

With the addition of Ivory, the Jawa 42 is now available in 15 different colour options. At Rs 1.85 lakh, this shade is positioned near the higher end of the range, which starts at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
