The Mercedes-Benz V-Class rolls into the country as the only one of its kind currently available - a luxury MPV. More popularly known as vans in other parts of the world, in India Mercedes is pegging it as the perfect business and family vehicle for those looking for unrivalled space and comfort. Accordingly, the V-Class is available in six and seven-seat versions to suit your purpose. Both come with electrically-operated sliding doors, on either side, for easy access and exit. The boot space can be accessed via a glass hatch that can open independent of the electrically operated tailgate. Powering the V-Class is a familiar powertrain, the 2.1-litre diesel as found in a few other Mercedes-Benz vehicles. In the V 220d, this BS6-compliant engine outputs 163PS and 380Nm torque, and puts it down to the ground via its front two wheels, via a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The V-Class is available in one of two wheelbase configurations. Pictured is the long wheelbase (3,200mm) version, with six-seats fitted between the 5,140mm total length

The V-Class six-seater is available in Exclusive trim, priced at Rs 81.90 lakh

The seven-seat V-Class Expressive is the extra-long wheelbase model, at 3,430mm and an overall length of 5,370mm
