Honda City and Elevate get 6 airbags as standard across all variants

Honda Cars India has introduced additional safety features throughout its entire product line in the nation, including the City, City e:HEV (Hybrid), Elevate, and Amaze. The popular models, Elevate and Honda City will now include six airbags, three-point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seatbelts, and seatbelt reminders for all five seats as standard across all grades.

The Elevate's SV, V, and VX models now include six airbags and sun visors with vanity mirrors (driver and passenger). Previously, these functions were only available on top-end models. Other new features included as standard with the Elevate include adjustable head restraints and seat belt reminders for all five passengers and a digi-analogue instrument cluster with a 7-inch TFT display.

The Honda City now gets 6 airbags, seat belt reminders for all five and a 4.2-inch colour TFT meter display as standard. There's also a new 8-speaker premium surround sound system and rear sunshade introduced in the VX grade.

As for the City e:HEV and Amaze, both cars now come with seat belt reminders for all five seats. The City e:HEV will also now be available in a single top-of-the-line ZX variant and the Amzae will only be offered in S and VX grades.

The Honda Elevate now starts from Rs 11.91 lakh and a top-end variant will set you back Rs 16.43 lakh. The City on the other hand is now priced from Rs 12.08 lakh to Rs 16.35 lakh. The City e:HEV is priced at Rs 20.55 lakh and the Amaze is priced at Rs 7.93 lakh onwards.
