Honda Amaze Ace edition launched at Rs 7.89 lakh to celebrate 1 lakh sales in 13 months
The second generation of the Honda Amaze which was launched 13 months ago has already crossed the 1 lakh sales milestone. To celebrate the event, Honda has launched the Amaze Ace edition. The Ace edition is based on the top VX trim of the Amaze and gets cosmetic tweaks.
The Amaze Ace edition is available in three colours - Red, Silver and White. The highlights on the exterior include blacked-out alloy wheels and bootlid spoilers, door garnish, window visors and the 'Ace edition' badging on the rear. The changes on the inside include seat covers with Ace branding and a front cabin lamp.
The Amaze Ace edition is available with both petrol and diesel engines. A 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 90PS and 110Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine on offer produces 100PS and 200Nm of torque. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission as well as with an optional CVT (continuously variable transmission).

At this price point, the Honda Amaze rivals the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Aspire and the Hyundai Xcent.
