Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Combat-Edition revealed with Cruise Control

The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Combat-Edition has been introduced with cruise control along with two new paintjob options.

The bike will be powered by the same 163.2cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine that is coupled to 5-speed transmission. The engine pushes 16.9 PS at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, has a 12-litre fuel tank capacity, uses a tubular underbone diamond type frame, has a box type swing arm and tips the scales at 147. 5 kg.

The bike has a saddle height of 800 mm, a ground clearance of 165 mm, and an overall length of 2,029 mm. The suspension duties are managed by a 37 mm KYB USD forks upfront and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. And braking duties are handled by disc brakes up front(276 mm) and at the rear(220 mm).

In terms of features, the bike comes with all LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, panic brake alert, self start, drag race timer, multicolour LCD dash, ride modes - Rain, Road and Sport, ride-by-wire, and  cruise control to name a few. The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V borrows the headlamp unit and the LCD dash from its elder sibling, the 250R.

The company has added the bike's features on the website, but the price has not been revealed, we can expect a launch soon of the Combat Editon. The outgoing Hero Xtreme 160R 4V retails at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). We can expect a substantial premium for the Combat Edition when it will be launched.
