At the heart of the X Skorpio Concept is a V8 engine producing 1,100 PS and 1,152Nm of torque. According to Genesis, this output puts it on par with desert racing trophy trucks. The brand says the concept has been developed for high-speed off-road driving, including extreme conditions such as airborne jumps and aggressive terrain.

The X Skorpio Concept features extreme ground clearance, along with large approach, departure and break-over angles. Braking duties are managed by Brembo Motorsport brakes for strong stopping power during intense off-road use.

The exterior draws inspiration from the X Gran Berlinetta Concept, but with a tougher, almost exoskeleton-like appearance. The car features flared fenders, bold bumpers and a wide stance. Up front, the concept gets V-shaped LED daytime running lights that flow into Genesis's signature 'Two-Line' lighting design, extending towards the front fenders. Beneath the DRLs sit four circular LED headlamp pods. The sculpted bonnet includes air intakes for cooling electrical components, while a functional roof scoop helps regulate cabin temperatures.

The profile features flush door handles, visible exhaust outlets and 18-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in custom 40-inch off-road tyres. At the rear, the Two-Line LED tail-lights are paired with illuminated Genesis branding set against a contrasting silver-finished grille.

The interior uses soft-touch materials, with the driver's display mounted directly on the steering wheel, while the dashboard houses a slidable touchscreen that can be adjusted for solo driving or co-driver use. The concept also comes equipped with advanced communication systems. In terms of safety, the X Skorpio Concept includes an integrated roll cage, four-point harnesses for occupants and reinforced structural elements for added protection.
