Five things to expect in the Hyundai Venue sub-compact-SUV launching tomorrow
One of the most anticipated vehicles of 2019 - Hyundai Venue sub-compact-SUV is all set to be launched in India tomorrow. Team OVERDRIVE already reported the global unveiling of the Venue earlier this month. So far we know that the Venue rivals the Ford EcoSport, Honda BR-V, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and the Tata Nexon in the Indian market.
Here is the list of five things to expect in the Hyundai Venue That is scheduled to launch tomorrow:
Styling
The body type may resemble the Hyundai Creta, although the fascia is inspired by the Hyundai Palisade. The Korean carmaker's flagship SUV. Also, the styling on the Hyundai Venue gives us a hint of what to expect on the next generation Hyundai Creta.
Engines
The three engines on offer are 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre diesel mills that we have already tried in the Hyundai Elite i20. The new engine in the limelight is the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor that produces 120PS and will come with an optional dual clutch transmission.
Hyundai Bluelink
Hyundai's car connectivity feature that will allow its owners to access features of the car remotely, will debut with the Hyundai Venue. The Bluelink feature is expected to be offered with other Hyundai cars in the following months.
Rivals
As mentioned above, the Hyundai Venue rivals the Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Brezza Honda BR-V and the Tata Nexon. However, the lower trims of the Hyundai Venue will compete against the likes of Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno as well as the upcoming Toyota Glanza.
Variants and Trims
Speaking of the lower trims, The Hyundai Venue will be offered E, S, SX, SX (O) and the SX+ trims. The E and the S trim will get the 1.2-litre petrol engine while the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine will be offered with a Hyundai Venue S, SX, SX (O) and the SX+ trim. The diesel variant will have the same engine option across trims. However, we hope to see the N-line variant of the Hyundai Venue in India as well.
