Citroen C5 Aircross facelift launched in India, priced at Rs 36.67 lakh
Citroen India has launched the facelifted Citroen C5 Aircross and is now priced at Rs 36.67 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is now available in a single dual-tone Shine variant.
With new LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, the front fascia of the revised C5 Aircross has been completely redone. Additionally updated is the front bumper, which now has a chrome lip and fog lights on either side. The SUV has 18-inch alloy wheels, diamond cuts, and 230 mm of ground clearance.
The Tijuca colour from before the makeover has been replaced on the updated C5 Aircross with Eclipse Blue. Four monochromatic colours - Pearl White, Pearl Nera Black, Eclipse Blue, and Cumulus Grey - are now available for the SUV.
The 2-litre diesel engine that powers the 2022 C5 Aircross continues to produce 177PS and 400Nm with no mechanical alterations. Two driving modes are available: Eco and Sport, and the powertrain is mated to an automatic eight-speed torque converter.
The redesigned C5 Aircross has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with three adjustable screens: Personal, Dials, and Minimum, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system inside. The centre console of the SUV has also been updated and now has a wireless charger and two USB ports. Full LED lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electric tailgate, a motorized driver seat, three full-size independent rear seats, dual-zone temperature control, a panoramic sunroof, and rain-sensing wipers are all included in the C5 Aircross.
Six airbags, ESP, hill start/descent control, traction control with Standard, Snow, and All Terrain modes, blind spot information, front and rear parking sensors, and parking assist are all included in terms of safety.
The Progressive Hydraulic Cushion suspension and Citroen's next-generation comfort seats, which have an additional 15 mm thickness of foam, are just another highlight of the C5 Aircross. The facelifted Citroen C5 Aircross rivals the recently launched Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan.
