BYD Sealion 7 price increased by Rs 50,000
The BYD Sealion 7 Premium variant's price has been hiked by Rs 50,000 and now the ex-showroom price stands at Rs 49.40 lakh.

BYD has now revised the price of the Sealion 7 Premium variant, it has been hiked by Rs 50,000 and now the ex-showroom price stands at Rs 49.40 lakh as opposed to the previous retail price of Rs 48.90 lakh(ex-showroom). The customers who booked the electric vehicle before December 31, 2o25 will be paying the older price, as the new price revision does not apply to them. Also, the price revision is limited to just the Premium variant, the Performance variant's price remains unchanged. The BYD Sealion 7 Premium variant is still priced at Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Commenting on the price hike, Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles (EPV) Business at BYD India, said, 'The updated pricing reflects the evolving cost dynamics while continuing to offer customers a compelling premium electric SUV proposition. The BYD Sealion 7 remains a strong value offering, backed by its advanced electric architecture, high performance, and comprehensive safety package. Since its launch, the BYD Sealion 7 has crossed 2,300 units in sales across India, reinforcing the growing acceptance and demand for premium electric SUVs in the market.' Since the launch of the BYD Sealion 7, the electric vehicle has recorded a sale of 2,300 units.
The BYD Sealion 7 is powered by an 82.6kWh battery pack, and there are two drivetrain options on offer - a Rear Drive and an All-Wheel Drive. The former uses a motor that pushes 313 PS and 380 Nm of peak torque and the later pushes 530 PS and 690 PS. In terms of performance, the company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in 6.7 seconds for the Premium variant and 4.5 seconds for the Performance variant. The company claims a range of 567 km on a single charge for for the Rear Drive and 542 km for the All-Wheel Drive.
In terms of features, the EV comes with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, ambient lighting, a panoramic glassroof, wireless charging, a 12-speaker audio system, and a powered driver seat with memory function to name a few.
And safety suite includes a 360-degree camera, a rear parking sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ADAS features, and 11 airbags.
