TVS Motor Company has rolled out the updated 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V lineup in India, introducing a host of feature upgrades and new variants aimed at enhancing both performance and rider convenience. The refreshed range is now available at dealerships nationwide, with prices starting at Rs. 1,25,440 (ex-showroom Delhi).
- New Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs
- An assist and slipper clutch
- No mechanical changes
The biggest highlight of the 2026 update is the standardisation of premium hardware across the lineup. Every variant now benefits from a new Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs, a full LED lighting system including turn indicators, and the addition of an assist and slipper clutch - features that improve visibility, riding comfort, and smoother downshifts.
Mechanically, the motorcycle continues with its proven engine delivering 18 PS. Riders also get three selectable ride modes - Sport, Urban, and Rain, allowing for adaptable throttle response depending on road conditions. Additional features such as radial tyres and a hydroformed handlebar aim to improve grip and handling precision.
The lineup is now spread across three variants. The entry-level Single Channel ABS trim uses telescopic front forks, a digital LCD console, and is offered in Matte Black and Racing Red. Moving up, the Dual Channel ABS with USD variant introduces upside-down front forks, dual-channel ABS, and adjustable levers, while retaining the LCD display. This version is available in Matte Black, Granite Grey, and Pearl White.
At the top sits the fully-loaded USD variant with TFT and traction control, priced at Rs. 1,37,440. It adds a 5-inch TFT display with TVS SmartXonnect, enabling features like turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts. This variant is offered in Matte Black, Racing Red, and Marine Blue.
The mid-spec Dual Channel ABS with USD variant is priced at Rs. 1,30,690, bridging the gap between the base and top trims while offering significant hardware upgrades.
