2025 Mahindra Thar facelift launched at Rs 9.99 lakh

The 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift has been launched for Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the top model will set you back by Rs 16.99 lakh, it gets cosmetic changes along with a few tech bits.

The exterior changes of the facelifted Thar includes a bold new grille, dual-tone bumpers, and two new color options - Tango Red and Battleship Grey.

And the cabin features black theme dashboard, rear AC vents, sliding armrest, dead pedal (AT), power windows, rear-view camera, and rear wash and wiper, a 10.25-inch HD infotainment unit with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Type-C USB ports, tyre direction monitoring system, and Adventure Stats Gen II to name a few.

The outgoing feature list includes roof mounted speakers, cruise control, and electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors to name a few.

There are no mechanical changes for the face lift, the brand continues to offer three engine options - a 1.5-litre diesel engine, a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. And transmission options include a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic. All engines produce 300 Nm of peak torque, in terms of power, the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine pushes 132 PS and the remaining two engines make 118 PS of power.

Mahindra Thar locks horns with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Force Gurkha, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos to name a few.
