The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 uses the the new 90° V2 890 cc engine that produces 120 PS at 10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 93.3 Nm at 8,250 rpm. Over 70 per cent of maximum torque available at just 3,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed sequential transmission and for track enthusiasts, a racing exhaust is available as an accessory, increasing power to 126 PS and reducing weight by 4.5 kg. The standard engine tips the scales at 54.4 kg.

The Streetfighter V2 uses a lightweight monocoque frame that uses the V2 engine as a stressed member. This  contributes to the bike's impressive dry weight of 175 kg (Streetfighter V2 S) and 178 kg (Streetfighter V2). The bike also gets double-sided swingarm inspired by the Panigale V4.

The suspension setup includes a fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and a fully adjustable Kayaba rear shock absorber for the Streetfighter V2. The V2 S on the other hand comes equipped with fully adjustable Öhlins NIX-30 fork and Öhlins rear shock absorber, alongside a lithium-ion battery for further weight reduction. Braking is handled by Brembo system with M50 monobloc calipers and 320 mm discs at the front. The new cast wheels are fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres (120/70 front and 190/55 rear).

The Streetfighter V2 is equipped with a 6-axis IMU inertial platform which offers cornering ABS with a "slide by brake" function for controlled sliding into corners, traction control with a new "predictive" control strategy for enhanced grip management, wheelie control, a bi-directional quickshifter, and engine brake control to name a few.

The bike gets a 5-inch TFT dash with three display modes (Road, Road Pro, and Track) and the ride can choose from four riding modes (Race, Sport, Road, Wet). The accessory list includes a racing exhaust for track use, the Lap Timer Pro self-timing system, Cruise Control, a Turn-by-turn navigator, a USB power socket, and a TPMS tyre pressure sensor. Additional equipment on the Streetfighter V2 S includes Ducati Power launch, pit-limiter, and a Lithium-ion battery. And it also weighs three kilograms lesser than the V2.
