2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 launched at Rs 18.88 lakh
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 18.88 lakh for the base variant and the top model will set you back by Rs 21.29 lakh.
- It is now 18 kg lighter than the outgoing model
- Powered by an 890cc V-twin engine pushing 115 PS and 92 Nm of peak torque
- Features new Wet Riding Mode and Enduro Riding mode
The new Multistrada V2 is equipped with the new Ducati V2 engine, a 90° V-twin, 890-cc, with IVT variable intake valve timing and distribution with coil spring valve recall. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission and it pushes 115 PS at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. This new engine weighs only 54.9 kg.
New additions also include a completely redesigned frame, rear subframe, and swingarm, which embrace the same construction philosophy as the Multistrada V4. The frame is an aluminium monocoque that uses the engine as a stressed element, the rear subframe is a steel trellis, and the swingarm is cast in aluminium. All this combined, the dry weight stands at just 199 kg and 202 kg for the V2 S version equipped with semi-active suspension. The new Multistrada V2 weighs a full 18 kg less than the previous model.
The rider aids include new 5-inch TFT colour dashboard, five available Riding Modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet), cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Engine Brake Control (EBC), Cruise Control, a USB socket, Ducati Brake Light EVO, and Turn-by-turn navigator to name a few.
It gets a 19-litre fuel tank, aluminium rims with 19-inch front and 17-inch at the rear that come shod with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres, Brembo braking system with double 320 mm front disc and 265 mm rear disc, 45 mm USD fork up front and a monoshock at the rear (170 mm travel for both units), and Ducati Skyhook Suspension.
The accessories list includes plastic or aluminium cases, steel protections, a centre stand, and spoked wheels to name a few.Â
