2024 new-gen Renault Duster pictures leaked ahead of global debut

While Renault has set the stage to reveal the new generation Duster tomorrow, on 29 November, 2023, the pictures of the production-spec SUV have been leaked on the internet, offering a glimpse of its completely overhauled exterior, especially new fascia. Earlier this month, the leaked patent design sketches of the new generation Duster went viral.

New Renault Duster: Design

Going by the leaked pictures, the upcoming Duster draws inspiration from the Dacia Bigster concept that was showcased in 2021. The SUV features a new design language and also appears to have grown in dimensions. The design highlights of the 2024 Duster include a slim front grille with illuminated elements, LED headlamps with integrated Y-shaped daytime running lights, sclupted bonnet, chunky body cladding paired with squared off wheel arches, round fog lights, air curtains in the front bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler, a new set of alloy wheels, V-shaped LED taillamps. With this, the new Duster looks a rugged SUV.

As mentioned in the previous news piece, where the new-gen Duster was shown with a no sunroof in the leaked patented photos. Now, the production-spec pictures of the SUV also confirm that the upcoming Duster will not be available with a sunroof.

New Renault Duster: Interior

Expect the all-new Duster to get an upmarket interior similar to the other up-to-the-minute Renualt models sold in the western markets. The cabin may come with a fully digital instrument cluster, a sizable touchscreen infotainment system (perhaps a tablet-like screen powered by Google), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a hi-fi sound system, wireless phone charging, USB Type-C ports, and connected car tech, and among others. Being a modern day SUV, Renult is expected to offer advanced driver assistance systems.

New Renault Duster: Powertrain

With its a new platform, the new Duster is likely to come powered by a new environmental-friendly powertrain option. It will probably also get updated petrol engines equipped with mild-hybrid functionality, while the hybrid model could feature a new E-Tech hybird powertrain like the Austral, Clio, and Arkana.
