2023 Kia Seltos facelift receives over 13,000 bookings on the first day

Kia India has announced that the 2023 Seltos facelift has received 13,424 bookings on the first day of its commencement of bookings. These bookings also include 1,973 reservations made via K-Code programme, where the existing Seltos owners will get a priority delivery of the new Seltos. The bookings for the SUV were opened on 14 July, 2023 for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Notably, the Seltos so far, has accounted for about 50 per cent of the brand's overall sales with over five lakh units sold across the country. Meanwhile, the launch of the 2023 Seltos facelift is likely to take place in the coming weeks.

Kia Seltos facelift variants and colours

The Seltos facelift is available in a choice of six variants, namely HTE, HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus, GTX Plus, and X Line, under three primary trims: Tech Line, GT Line, and X Line. Moreover, Kia offers it with eight mono-tone and two dual-tone colour options: Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Pewter Oliver, Imperial Blue, Gravity Grey, Clear White, Glacier White, and Aurora Black Pearl including Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl and Intense Red with Aurora Black Pearl. Additionally, the Matte Graphite paint job is exclusively available for the X Line trim.

Kia Seltos facelift Features

The carmaker has equipped the Seltos facelift with numerous features, such as a 10.25-inch dual display setup, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone temperature control, an eight-way powered drive seat, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. On top of that, the SUV gets Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) comprising 17 distinctive functions. The brand has also revealed that it has 15 standard safety features and a total of 32 safety features.

Kia Seltos facelift Powertrain

Powering the Kia Seltos facelift is a new 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that makes 160PS and 253Nm of torque. This new unit is a replacement for the 1.4-litre turbo petrol and was debuted with the Hyundai Alcazar and all-new Verna, followed by the Kia Carens. Not only that, the SUV also continues to get the 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated, petrol engine with 115PS/143.8Nm and a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbo-diesel motor with 116PS/250Nm. Kia offers various transmission options, such as a six-speed iMT, dual-clutch automatic, torque-convertor automatic, six-speed manual, CVT automatic.
