2019 Ducati Scrambler range launched in India - prices start at Rs 7.89 lakh
Ducati India has launched the 2019 Scrambler range in India, starting at Rs 7.89 (ex-showroom). The new Ducati Scrambler models that are on sale include the Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Full Throttle, Scrambler Cafe Racer and the Scrambler Desert Sled.

The 2019 Ducati Scramblers get a raft of updates that improve the overall riding experience by a significant margin. To begin with, the styling receives minor tweaks such as new tank panels, new exhaust end can and new headlamp with a DRL and an X-shaped motif. The alloy wheels are new as well while the engine has been blacked out for added contrast.
The switchgear is new and in terms of quality it feels several notches above the switches in the outgoing model. The levers are new and adjustable while the new instrument pod now displays the fuel level as well as the gear position in addition to the usual tell tales.
The biggest addition, however, is cornering ABS which is great considering the varying road conditions and uncertainties that they present.

Besides these changes, the chassis and engine is the same as before. The Icon is powered by an 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin motor that produces 73PS at 8,250rpm and torque 67Nm at 5,750rpm.
The Scrambler series is available across Ducati dealerships in India from today onwards.
