We have ridden the Hero Splendor iSmart, with a start-stop technology, and here is a pictorial first impression of the motorcycle. You can read the full first ride report here.

First of all, the quality levels on the motorcycle are almost exactly the same as before. Second, that paint job is actually rather good looking.

Visually, the iSmart looks the same as the NXG but with new paint, stickers and some minor changes

Hero will sell the Splendor iSmart at Rs 60,000 on-road Mumbai. This makes the iSmart roughly Rs 2,000 more expensive than the Splendor NXG

It might actually get my vote for being the best looking Splendor ever if it weren't for the iSmart decal in the middle of the tank that to me pulls down the look more than anything

The iSmart exhaust unit is same as the Splendor NXG

The iSmart button is placed where usually you find the engine kill switch

The Splendor iSmart gets tubeless tyres

The 97.2cc engine is the same as the NXG and the Splendor Pro, producing 7.8PS of power and 8Nm of torque

The iSmart has analog meters, notice the side-stand indicator on the left

The fuel tank capacity is 8.7 litres
