The KTM way

KTM boss Stefan Pierer recently revealed that the brand’s flagship RC8 sportsbike will lead to other models as well, including a naked version, which will subsequently be followed by an adventure model. Regarding the group’s future plans, he stressed that while the marque intends to become the biggest European producer of motorcycles, it would prefer not to bring out models with short life spans like the Japanese but offer customers stability and maintain prices.He also stated that KTM aspires to become the Austrian version of British sports car firm Lotus, pushing its car operations towards small-volume, high-performance cars. KTM hopes to make 200,000 bikes per year by 2020.
