Audi has unveiled the A7 Sportback at the Munich Motor Show. The A7 is a four-door 'coupe' in the vein of the BMW 5-series GT and Porsche Panamera, with a hatchback-style boot opening married to a swooping roofline. The A7 was designed alongside the new A8, and it shows in the front design of the car. The A7 will be powered by four engine options, two petrols, one of which generates 300PS and 440Nm from a 3.0 TFSI V6 and two diesels, one with 245PS and 500Nm and the other with 204PS. Both diesels are 3.0 TDI V6 engines, and Audi hasn't yet quoted a power figure for the second petrol engine. Both the high-output engines will send their power to all wheels through the Quattro system and S-Tronic gearboxes, while the ones with the lower power outputs will feed the front wheels power through the Multitronic CVT gearboxes. |
