Celebration bells for Yamaha as it won the constructors title in the highly competitive World Superbike Championship this year with its class leading R1. More reason to celebrate as R1 turns 10 this year and to commemorate this, Yamaha has launched the limited, anniversary edition R1 sporting the same Santander livery as Noriyuki Haga’s race machine.

Like all good things, the bike will be produced in a limited run of 500 bikes. In case it slips out of your mind, Yamaha’s put in a reminder on the yoke plate, with a engraving of the serial number of the bike to set it apart from the crowd.
