One of the most beautiful naked bikes just became one of the fastest too. With the new 1078cc engine plonked into the same chassis and bodywork, the MV Agusta Brutale really gets brutal with 155PS of power at 10,700rpm and a massive 117Nm of torque coming in at 8,100rpm. The gearbox has been tweaked for better top speed, but it’s the extra torque that comes to the notice. The bike also gets new Brembo monoblock radial calipers and MV’s new slipper clutch. The original 910 is also replaced by the Brutale 989R, which actually sports a 982cc engine capable of producing 142PS of power. New radial Brembo calipers replace the previous model’s Nissins units while new throttle bodies from the F4 feed this powerhouse to propel the bike to a claimed top speed of 264kmph.
