| Guess who's been to the beauty salon lately? It's our cutesy little TVS Scooty Pep+. The makeover has rendered a futuristic, sharp outlook to the cuddly scooterette along with a new name. Engine has been tweaked a bit for better performance and fuel efficiency. Though the TVS release states that the new design is unisexual, the Scooty Streak still remains a girl's best friend with a host of convenience features like an easy side stand, a low contoured seat, mobile charger and a lockable front glovebox. Another interesting change is the external fuel filler at the rear. The Scooty Streak is priced at Rs 35,800, ex-showroom. Scooty Streak, which will be available in a range of five exciting colours including red, blue, black, pink and mauve is packed with many innovative features. The bike offers superior ride quality with its high-comfort contoured seat and the all aluminium shock absorbers that provide stress free riding even on bad roads. It comes with broad anti-skid tyres that provide enhanced wet braking stability and is equipped with an external fuel fill at the rear for refueling. The eazy center stand allows one to put the bike on the stand almost effortlessly. The bike is fitted with a mobile charger and a lockable front glove box to store handy items. TVS Motor Company has signed on noted tennis star, Sania Mirza to endorse the Scooty Streak as she emanates the brand attributes of being self sufficient and is a young achiever. Scooty Streak is priced at Rs. 35,800 ex-showroom and will be made available across India starting January 2009. Scooty Streak is the fourth offering from Scooty, the first offering from the brand, being the iconic girl bike Scooty Pep+.
