The battery-replacing capacitor experiment proved an all-capital ‘no-no’ for the Zeus, with a near total sedentary two months. Seems the Greek god of gods does not have things really going for it on planet Earth. However that said, the battery-revert and some tending to at the Suzuki service station has the Zeus in full-tilt form. Right in time too for the Sinhagad sortie. Misgivings if i had any, were quickly forgotten as the Zeus emanated revved-up zeal for the long stretch and the rough and twisty. That i never gave cause for the rest to throttle down was proof enough of the Zeus’ zip, given my eons less-than-Rossi-like riding cred. Yes, bounce around i did some and maybe wished for a Phuket-style multiple-finger massage... but this demure little 125cc is a city commuter that has fair yen for long-ish haul.
The diminutive dimensions and enthuastic response to throttle wrings that endow little Zeus with admirable urban-crawl attributes, also stand it in good stead amidst throes of 70kmph+ dashes on open highway stretches, the low stance and no excess flab proving virtues in keeping buffeting by crosswinds or heavy vehicle slipstream at bay. Who says sedate ought to or must be boring?
