Dont. Buy a 2010 R1 instead, end up saving roughly 6 lakhs, and trump those haughty SUVs on the road doing a 200 kmph, on one wheel, and show them the middle finger when doing it. :P

Loves,

Evo

Note: All the above provided you do NOT have a wife, kids and dogs. If you have all or one of the three, make sure you dump them FIRST and them buy yourself a 2010 R1 and do the aforestated.

Note II: If you STILL want to buy an SUV, would suggest you buy the Scorpio or the Innova. Or, if you stretch your budget a bit more, the Fortuner or the CRV. Best of luck!

Lets see ur options:
1.Fortuner
2.Captiva
3.Endeavor

Now if you are willing to spend a lil more, you might get into the Outlander/X-Trail territory.

There are some common misunderstandings abt SUV,so lets get it clear here.
1. U want a SUV because u love to go OTR(off the road)
2. U want a SUV because u want a large roomy vehicle
3. U want a big car feel
4. U like ur vehicle to get down and dirty

If it is either 1& 4, u need a serious off-roader and all the above mentioned are soft-roaders.
Thus you will also need a 4x4 vehicle.

If ur choice is 2/3 or both, take a TD in the cars and pick ur choice. Almost all of them are nearly similar specd. Avoid Petrol mills(CR-V- Heck its not even a soft roaders; its a SAV). They drink a lot and not upto it.

Drive safe.

Dear Spartan,

How many SUVs are ACTUALLY bought for getting down and dirty or for OTR purposes? If showing off is what you want to do, an Endeavour or a CRV it is. If you want to OTR, get yourself a DT 200, replace the engine with an RD Mill and scream along those high tubular shocks. And, if you fall, pick up the baby and take a hike! :D

Loves,

Evo
